Romeo and Juliet: a Metis Love Story is a love story that crosses time between an apartment in Edmonton 2023 and Fort Edmonton in the 1800’s, on the cusp of the Riel Rebellion. Julia Callihoo travels through time with her neighbor Susan, a nursing student at Edmonton General, pulled between love for her people and love for a man.
